Outstanding UTME Performance by Our Head Prefect
We are proud to announce the remarkable achievement of our Head Prefect, Adediran Adebambo Tayyib, who recently sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) at the age of 16.
Adebambo demonstrated academic excellence by scoring as follows:
Physics: 96
Mathematics: 88
Chemistry: 90
Use of English: 68
Total Score: 342/400
This outstanding result places him among the top-performing candidates nationwide. According to the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, only 4,756 of over 1.9 million candidates scored 320 and above, highlighting the rarity and distinction of Adebambo’s achievement.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, commended the general performance improvement in the 2025 UTME, attributing it to stronger government measures against examination malpractice.
