The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards (OPLA)
The Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards are a set of awards that recognise top-performing international students worldwide who achieved the highest mark for all levels of Pearson Edexcel qualifications; iPrimary, iLowerSecondary, GCSE, International GCSE, A Levels, International AS/A Levels.
It is with great pleasure that we announce that Adebambo Adediran* will be receiving an award for *his outstanding performance in the 2023/24 IGCSE Examination.
This internationally recognized award is from *Pearson School Qualifications.
Indeed, it is a laudable feat as he emerged as the candidate who scored the highest standard* mark *in Economics as a subject in the country, the region, and in the world.
This puts Adebambo Adediran ahead of over *2200 learners* from the 750 schools, from 82 countries who are eligible to receive the award out of the thousands of candidates who sat for the Pearson Edexcel exam in 2023/24.
He will be presented the 2024 *Outstanding Pearson Learner Award*(OPLA) in Lagos next year. He would also *be honored alongside other achievers who will be converging for the prestigious award ceremony that will be
televised and aired internationally.
To celebrate this *incredible achievement* many distinguished dignitaries will be in attendance. His parents Dr. & Mrs. Adediran will be accompanying him as parents of the awardee.
The management of Buckswood School Nigeria rolls out the drums to celebrate Adebambo Adediran for doing the school proud by bringing the spotlight of international recognizability to our school which is situated in a little corner in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
While we celebrate this testament to the glory of God on one hand, on the other, the school views this achievement as a challenge to break new ground in the coming years.
